SELF-CIRCLE NO.2.-TIME ISOLATION(a work for Video. From.. '20 SELF-CIRCLES.. PROGRAMMES & INVESTIGATIONS '71.')

mark out a self-circle on the floor of an empty room.
Hang a large clock on the wall immediately behind the self-circle.
Hang this clock at eyelevel, so as you walk the circle you periodically obliterate the image of the clock.
Begin walking anti-clockwise, walking on the perimeter of the circle.
Continue walking anti-clockwise for five minutes.

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS: Videoing should commence as the performer begins walking the self-circle. The cameraman should steadily focus the camera on the face of the clock.
The performer in walking the self-circle can slightly vary his pose. At times the circle can be completed very slowly and at other times his pace can be slightly speeded up.
