Make a self-circle using black powder or earth.
Having marked out a circle around yourself on the sand, sit meditating in the circle for about 30seconds.
After 30seconds meditation in an upright position, begin scooping up the sand around you to lay the basis of a mound under yourself.
Work methodically within the limits of the self-circle.
Continue scooping the sand under yourself until a mound has been raised that puts you above the surrounding area of sand.
When you have made a good sized mound, discontinue scooping up the sand and sit upright on your mound for about 30seconds.
TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS: Videoing should commence as the performer seats himself on the sand and as he begins to mark out the self-circle.
As the performer comes out of his meditation and as he begins scooping up sand, the cameraman, using his zoom, should concentrate only on the actions of the performer. . excluding the sand around him.
As the performer completes mound making and as he assumes an upright posture, the zoom should gain be used to take in the completed work.
