Originally from New Zealand, Simon Baré has worked as a writer, director and editor on everything from short films to documentary to children’s TV. His first short film Eau de la Vie was an official Cannes selection as well as winning a series of international awards. Since then Simon has worked extensively, and in 2012 his documentary Five Dock Crew was nominated for the Best Documentary Award at the St Kilda Film Festival. Currently completing his second film-related Masters degree Simon brings knowledge of the entire story telling process to his editing classes.
