Kieran Gilfeather has recently completed his Bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in film and digital art at Sydney College of the Arts, as well as a Certificate IV in Graphic Design at the St George TAFE campus. Enjoying a wide spectrum of creative fields, Gilfeather is currently working with digital and super 8mm film on narrative and installation projects; writing, playing and recording with a number of musical acts; keeping an ongoing longterm photography project; practicing and working in design and typography; producing an independent comic, and assembling a creative writing and poetry portfolio. Gilfeather describes his work as varied and often lighthearted, as well as usually concerned with the natural elements and human nature; preferring reflection of life rather than investigation. Former film works include; Comfortable Discomfort, The Lighthouse Film Night, Gaffa Gallery 2013; A Scarlet Tuesday, The Sydney Underground Film Festival 2012 and SCA Meat Slap 2011; Une Belle Vie, SCA Tofu Slap 2011; Twin Cinema, 16mm film collaboration with Frazer Bull-Clark, FBI Social and Marrickville Contemporary Art Prize, ESP Gallery 2012.
