Emma Hicks is a Sydney based artist. She is a current PhD candidate at Sydney College of the Arts.

Emma has exhibited both nationally and internationally working across film, installation and performance, and has recently participated in the following exhibitions and festivals: Dlux Media Arts & Arterial Gallery (Is This Art?), Airspace Projects (Landscape Too), The Town Hall Gallery (Ways of Seeing), Parsons The New School for Design (re:cinema), SCA galleries (re:cinema), Carriageworks (The Televisions Project), Articulate Project Space (Out of Site), The Sydney Underground Film Festival (OZPLOIT), Cable Television Buffalo NY (Art Grease ep.648) and The Rocks Pop Up Space (White Light, White Heat).

Emma was recently awarded the Dr.Charles Perkins AO Memorial Prize and is a current Australian Post-Graduate Award recipient.
