Amanda Seddon

Amanda Seddon studied at the National Art School, completing a B.A. of Fine Arts with First Class Honours in Painting in 2012, and is currently completing the final year of a Master’s degree in Painting at the same institution. In the past 5 years of study she has been awarded the Winsor & Newton studio scholarship 2013, was winner of the Sir William Dobell Student Drawing Prize (National Art School) the Winner of the Maries Art Award, a recipient of the William Fletcher Foundation Scholarship and the People’s Choice Award in Pyrmont Art Prize in 2011. She also received 2nd place and was Highly Commended in the Jocelyn Maughan Sketch Book Prize 2009 and winner of the Ethical Art Prize in 2008. Seddon has exhibited in numerous student and group exhibitions and is currently exhibiting film and installation work in the Waverly Library Gallery.
