Artereal Gallery and dLux MediaArts are proud to present IS THIS ART?

A ground breaking quarterly screening program of moving image works, IS THIS ART? aims to link art audiences with exciting new works by emerging creative practitioners. Viewers will be presented with curated programs of emerging practitioner and student works, drawn from the disciplines of film, video art and other time-based mediums.

“This retrospective IS THIS ART? presents works that challenge our understanding of language, highlighting the fluidity of communication through the constant process of re-working and re- understanding. The works examine the way we approach and understand languages and raises questions on individual identity, our environment and social landscape.

The screening program of moving image works aims to challenge, entertain and inspire in equal measure through addressing the many diverse forms of expression from text and verbal language to gestural and visceral language.”
