Michelle has worked as an independent practitioner and curator on a range of projects that have exhibited internationally and funded through ArtsWA, Australia Council, Screenwest and the Australian Film Commission, (now Screen Australia).
She is interested in working across the boundaries of screen and art; digital space and real life; commercial and not for profit. Her skills are as a writer and visual artist able to work with teams to bring to fruition ideas across a range of different formats. She has worn a few different hats, and finds that the digital space is the most challenging and exciting front at this time for creative practitioners. Not only does it offer new finance models, it also enables you to engage directly with your audience and bypass the old gatekeepers.
