Jordana Maisie creates work that support a visceral and fluid audience experience by responding to the space in which they are installed. Maisie has shown in galleries and festivals throughout Australia, Europe and South Korea.

In 2009, she completed a mentorship with Mark Coniglio, media artist and designer of interactive software Isadora, and was granted the ANZ Private Bank and Art & Australia Contemporary Art Award. 2010 saw her commissioned by the Next Wave Festival and the Splendid Arts Lab as well as her participation in A Perfect Day for Chasing Tornadoes (white) in Berlin and a residency facilitated by the Centre for Performance Research, Brooklyn. In February 2011, Maisie introduced her new body of work in collaboration with German illustrator Uli Knörzer, at MARS Gallery in Melbourne, with the support of Australia Council for the Arts and the NAVA Marketing Grant. 2011 also facilitated a 10 month JUMP mentorship with Australian artist Craig Walsh, a residency at the Elsewhere Collective in North Carolina and Maisie's certification as a Permaculture Designer.
