Daniel Mudie Cunningham is an artist, writer and curator based in Sydney. His art practice draws upon and rethinks the image streams of art history, everyday life, pop culture and fandom through video and performance.
He completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Cultural Studies & Visual Culture in 2004 and Bachelor of Arts - First Class Honours in Art History & Criticism, both at the University of Western Sydney.
He is a widely published arts writer and cultural critic and has been active since the mid-1990s as a curator of contemporary Australian art. He was Chair of DLUX Media Arts from 2011-14. He is currently the Senior Curator at Artbank.
