“In Transit” Chisenhale Gallery, London (1989)

Produced at the Chisenhale Gallery for the London component of In Transit, an exhibition of work by Australian artists organised by Sandra Drew Gallery in Canterbury, Kent. This installation consisted of a row of monitors arranged on stilts against the gallery wall. In sequence like this the screens took on the appearance of cartoon frames. This was accentuated by the extrapolation of particular sets of patterns from the tape Night’s High Noon on alternate monitors, whilst the tape itself played on the other two monitors.
