d/Art/06 Mobile showcased recent Australian and international works for mobile devices. The works presented on mobile phones could be transferred to privately owned phones by visitors of the exhibition using the Aura Bluezone device in the exhibition hall. d/Art/06 Mobile builds on the experience and expertise developed through previous projects in the field of mobile phones (FutureScreen Mobile and Mobile Journeys). These past projects were aimed at fostering the development of art for mobile phones in Australia through skills and knowledge development and the stimulation of production through a commissioning program.
