The Anita Project is based on research into the murder of Anita Cobby in Australia in 1986, and the impact her death had on society. At the age of 26 years old, Anita Cobby was robbed, raped and brutally murdered in Western Sydney, which provoked fierce public outrage never before witnessed in Australia.

This work consists of a three-screen DVD installation running in random, which is triggered by the audience via a pressure mat when they enter the gallery space. Images and words relating to the death of Anita Cobby are projected on to surrounding walls, creating a dark theatre and cinema experience for the viewer.
