Arcadia is an experiment in play. The game contains eight miniature games, each one styled after an early 80s console or arcade game. The mini-games are extremely simple to play so simple, in fact, that it would be terribly boring to play just one of them. So in Arcadia, the player plays four of them at the same time, moving the cursor from game to game to game in an erratic rhythm of de-centered attention. The games gradually become more and more difficult, and if the player loses all of his or her lives in one of the four mini-games, the game as a whole ends.
