Hinged is a narrative based on a man who experiences paranoia in his young adult life, as a direct consequence of the abuse he was exposed to as a child. Thus, the film itself traces three temporal spaces that emerge from the man's conception of his own meticulous reality; firstly, his present-day physical life, secondly, his childhood memories, and thirdly, the psychological path of his own mind. As this lone figure explores the intricacies of his personal experience, he exposes in turmoil and release the reality of self; and in doing so, excavates the prescriptive power of the cinematic illusion.
