Crash Media was constructed from a digital video distortion process whereby sourced footage, depicting the destruction of various motor vehicles, was manipulated using flaws in digital video technology. The images in this video have been altered to such an extent that the visuals are indistinguishable from their original source. By this use of technical malfunction, Crash Media represents the aesthetics of dysfunction.
