Sherre DeLys is a maker of radio documentaries and radio art, who is currently Producer of ABC Radio National's 360 Documentaries program. Prior to joining the 360 team she worked at New York's flagship public radio station, WNYC, and RN's Into the Music and The Listening Room. Her work has received Grand Prix Sound Design in the French Phonurgia Nova awards, and Silver Award, Best Documentary at Third Coast, USA. On the web she founded ABCPool, which was named Govt 2.0 Innovator and received the ABC’s Excellence in Digital Media award. Sherre has made sound sculpture for hospitals, galleries, glasshouses and the Sydney Olympics. She was a founding member of Mind/Body/Split, improvising musicians using texts, electronics, tapes and instruments, and she’s taught and published in media art. She was named Australia Council New Media Arts Fellow 2001–2003.
